Sample Concept / Cyprus Civilizations |
Northern Cyprus is a perfect destination especially with historical concepts due to its being an island, the closeness of the historical areas to each other and due to the fact that it has been the harbor of many civilizations throughout the history. |
General Overview |
All the costumes and accessories are used in line with what was used in that period. This scala includes samples from Ottoman, Byzantium, Luzinyan, Geneva, Venetian and British civilizations. Orientation will be processed as a computer game |
Interior Decoration of the Hotel |
The entry of the hotel is decorated with an entry apparatus made of Styrofoam over which there is the logo of the firm. On the entry hall, the columns of the hotel are separated by the columns made of Styrofoam. The area over which the registration desk will be situated, is decorated with façades with an effect of column and rampart. The lobby of the hotel and the path to elevators are blocked starting from the reception side. By this way, the guests are directly taken to registration field. With the only exit from this section, the animators nearby lead the guests to the door going to elevators |
Arrival / Reception |
When the guests come to the airport, they are welcomed by the animators dressed in costumes specific to a period. At the buses on the way to hotel, the professional guides give general information about the history of Cyprus. However; among this information some secret codes are also give and the guides warn the guests about these |
First Day |
After the gathering up, the teams depart for Kyrenia. The guests are given a free time to shop in Kyrenia. After a trip to Kyrenia Fortress and Bellapais Monastery, the guests return to the hotel.
Around 8 p.m., the guests are invited to the beach by the animators. The party to be arranged at the beach is to be prepared in line with the same concept. A visual show will be made with torches, ramparts, flags, fireworks’ show during the later hours of the night and fire effects to be arranged at the specific areas of the field |
Second Day |
With the announcements to be attached to the tables at breakfast, information is given about the daily activities. Over the tables, there are special napkins with prints over them and there are special napkin rings with the logo of the firm over them. After the symposium, guests are taken to Famagusta Fortress by bus and they are separated into groups for the orientation prepared for them and they are delivered at different gates. At this event, Byzantium public life is actualized. For instance, special points such as grocery, pottery, academy, school of gladiators and photographer’s are built. Since the photographer’s is close to Venetian Palace, the guests may get their photos taken. From these points which are formerly specified in the sketches distributed to the guests, the animators ask some questions to the guests and lead them to their place and gave them some numbers.
The sketch is to be arranged in a way that is easy to read. At the same time, this very sketch is to be the map of a history tour within the Famagusta Fortress. The numbers gathered at the stations defined in the sketch are to return as gifts at the lottery of the gala. However; the guest who takes heed of the cues to be given at each point will receive the signal reward.
For instance: There is a key given by the seller at the market. This key belongs to a treasure box to be situated in an easily detectable place between the present station and the one coming after. Perhaps, there is a mini pocket computer inside the box. At another station, there is an envelope attached to the wall and it is slightly covered with plaster. However; as a cue, next to the envelope, there is a scraper hung on the wall. And the cue for the place to be dug will be the logo of the firm. In one of the other stations, there is a fortune teller and she gives some clues. The fortune teller wants the coupons to be collected by the guests until that time and she gives the secret map to the ones who are willing to give the coupons. In this map, the places are shown that have more coupons and gifts. At another station, another gift waits for the guests. During this event, the Fortress of Famagusta is prepared in a way that resembles the parts of a computer game. The guests are provided with food and rest at some stations in line with the concept. At this station, the animators serve complimentary food within the pots over which there is the logo of the firm. The first point to be reached is the Venetian Palace and here great surprises are prepared for the guests. Perhaps, while the majority of the crow gathered, the soldiers would enter into the scene. They would interfere with the situation and announce that it was an illegal event and they would take the identity cards of the participants. By this way some of the guests would be eliminated since unless their identity cards would be brought again, they would not leave the area.
An alternative surprise is the music video shot at Famagusta Fortress. The singer in this video may be the singer that will be singing at the gala night. The scenario of the video is composed of the people at the background, of their closely shot faces and what they say about life.The name of the singer whose video is being shot is “Hayat”. The animators who wait at the area and who acts as manufacturing assistant offer the participants to show up in the video. The ones who are willing should pass behind the singer, come in front of the camera and tell something spontaneously about life. The shootings will be shown at full screen during the gala night.

Treasure Chase Concept |
Treasure Chase
Purpose: Team spirit, individual success, motivation over precision and different point of views.
The project starts with breakfast at the hotel. The Managing Director describes the main features of the project together with an opening speech and he divides the participants into groups of five or more or he requests that they should separate or he forms the teams by lottery. He distributes arm straps with logo of the firm over specially designed to represent each team. And a speech is made on team spirit, individual success, precision, and on different point of views.
Each team is composed of five people, one being the leader among them. Before the departure from the hotel, each team is asked four questions: two about the history of Cyprus, two about the product and the ranking for the entry into the field is done by taking into account the correct and quick answering to these questions.

Entry into the Field |
The teams lifted by bus from their hotels are delivered in front of our office building at our center. And the project starts. The groups that are lead to the parks close to the area where they are delivered are in the game now. |
First Lap: The Park |
The teams enter into park and they look for initial code to start the game. This code is the logo of the firm. The team leader who finds the carts hidden in various places within the park such as barks of the trees, tree branches and the bricks of the walls is lead to the tent with the logo of the firm in the park. When the leader enters the tent, the fortune teller inside the tent with only her back visible greets him and says “Welcome, I have been waiting for you” and she turns around. She passes two envelopes to the leader and wants him to choose one of the envelopes painted in firm’s colors. From each envelope, a different sketch to start comes out. The teams are lead into the field. |
Second Lap: The Labyrinth (Marina Region) |
The Labyrinth region has four different entries. After the entry into the field, a rush with many surprises starts. The route continues around Kyrenia centrum, marina and fortress. After the groups have entered into the field, the teams are lead into different areas according to the codes and orientations on the route. At the same time, the animators in make-up and special costumes within the field sometimes help and sometimes mislead the guests. After this minute, each object, person and sign may be a code or a bonus. |
Sample Route |
The team enters into the road leading to marina from the road next to the park. From the first parting of the way, the alternatives start. The route divides into two with orientation over which there is the logo of the firm. The first route goes down to marina from the road next to the park and turns left and enters into cross streets nearby the Ağapaşa Mosque. An old man sits in front of the ruins of the old fountain situated next to the steps in the area. This blind prophet asks a question to the approaching member of the team.
The Blind man: “What is the secret of life?” There are only 3 chances to give the correct answer. The answer may be “white dove” or “freedom”. In case that they know the correct answer, he gives each of them a logo worth 50 points.
Within the same field, there are codes over the stones of the ruins of a building close by which symbolize the 5 elements of the galaxy in a mixed order. Although the signs do seem to represent the 5 elements, in fact they are the figures to show some point in the marina, this code is the photos. The animators who are waiting at the destination point lead the group to another lap with the quadrant read aloud. |

The tree at the corner is a code and when the group approaches this point, they overhear the conversations of two animators.
The animators talk as such in turns:
First animator: “We take roots in land with a slow pace”
Second Animator: “The land with no water not pleases us.”
First Animator: “In the sky the relentless star fades”
Second Animator: “Death can not be reached for free”
… and after that they pass the water at their hands. What needs to be done is to spill water to the foot of the tree and to discover the hidden tablet covered with soil.
This is another orientation.

The second sign is the lantern image at the marina. Here, another two animators speak as such.
First Animator: “The world of lights which we can not behold.”
Second Animator: “Carries the secrets within its reflection.”
First Animator: “Water takes the light from us.”
Second Animator: “Carries it to other worlds.”
And then they lead the guests to kids’ playground at the marina. The animato at the marina is the same blind prophet whom we see everywhere. He tests the members of the team with some questions about the product and gives them privileges according to their answers. Later on he leads them to the wheel of fortune at the park in order to gain some scores. They get bonus points from the wheel by turning it as much as they have the right to.
In this section, there are two good and two bad bonuses.

1: The Hidden Key Heads to the Final |
When we come to the area depicted in the picture, we see that there is a circle drawn on the ground for only one person to fit into. When the team member gets into this circle and looks upward, he sees a hidden key. This key brings 1000 extra points to the members of the team and heads them directly to final. At the note attached to the key, it is written that the players should go to final field behind the fortress. |
2: Chocolate Carries to the Final |
In this section, a handseller at the cross streets distributes the chocolates in a metal box to the member of the team that he encounters. There is a child close by at the corner; he looks at the chocolate dejected. The members who think that there is a code inside do not give the chocolate to the child, yet the team that gives the chocolate to the child is directed to the final field by the child and they finish the game by gaining 1000 points. |
2. Directing to the Office / Disqualification |
In the same region, at the turn of a street on a wall we see 4 pipes. Within these 4 pipes, there are 2 hidden bonuses and 2 invitations to the office. The members who investigate this region should burn the empty papers getting out of the pipes, when the papers written with lemon juice were scorched to the fire, the hidden script will reveal itself and the result will be defined.
The members of the team who come to office with the invitation are taken to final point behind the fortress by two space guardians. However; taken into cages here, these guests are announced to be disqualified.
Within the same field, there are minidestination areas at the exits to marina.

Marina |
Marina region is composed of 3 main sections. |
Wise Bartender |
| There is a poster hung on the window at the harbour bar within the marina region. In this poster there is the photo of the Managing Director as the pianist singer singing at nights. The group getting in is greeted by the wise bartender. There is a chessboard over the bar stall. The bartender challenges the leader. The chessboard is already ready to play and pieces are scattered. The team gains bonus as much as the points written under the pieces which are taken by the leader. |
Bonus Corridor |
There are ten logos hidden at the wooden corridor in the booth. Each of them is worth 100 points. However; leading to this area will be used adherent to the next step. |
Space Pirate |
There is a ship with a pirate flag at the marina. Inside the ship, there is the pirate captain. He is the man to obtain the code leading to the fortress. When the guests get on board, the captain greets them and tells them a story. This story is a story that is based on binoculars. He leads the members of the team to the final. At the same time, there are hidden bonuses inside the ship. While getting on this ship, there are two chances of entry. In case that the visitors enter from the first entry, at the first corridor there is the formerly mentioned 1000 points of bonus. |
| Fortress |
When the teams come to the fortress, they see two spaceman playing backgammon inside. There discussing something. When the teams approach to them, they overhear this dispute. The subject of the dispute is the question whether the one who throws big dices and the one who throws minor ones wins. The guests are asked the same question. According to the answer, they throw dices and each side of the dices is a bonus point. The teams will earn bonus as many points as they gain from dices.
The final destination is the hill of the fortress where the flag of the firm is hung. The team leader who looks through binocular to some point sees the sign that says “game is over”.

Final |
The final is the party to be held on the boat waiting behind the fortress. The animators register the time of the team that finished the game. They lead the team behind the fortress. A party is arranged according to weather conditions either as an evening party or on the boat waiting at the shore or on the boat heading back to hotel. |
Selection of the first runner |
The announcement of the first runner takes place at the hotel. The jury that is formed counts the points of the teams. The teams do not know each other’s points. The team leader starts a bargain either on the stage or at the defined section with their bonus and codes. After the bargain, the team that has shown the best performance wins the game. |
